Burn Center & Critical Care
UMC will expand care by adding operating rooms, critical care beds, and improved burn care units. The new burn center will provide specialized treatment close to home, strengthening El Paso’s emergency response and improving patient outcomes.
UMC Names Dr. Philip E. Fidler as Burn Center Director
Dr. Philip E. Fidler, a nationally recognized burn surgeon with 20+ years of experience, is appointed Director of the El Paso Burn Center. His leadership strengthens UMC’s goal to deliver advanced burn care to Far West Texas and Southern New Mexico.
