The University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) is advancing the East Clinic Rehab project, located at 1521 Joe Battle Blvd. This facility is part of UMC’s broader off-campus expansion to bring specialized healthcare services closer to El Paso communities.
The project focuses on creating a dedicated outpatient rehabilitation clinic to better serve patients in need of physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies.
Project Team and Timeline
- Project Manager: Hammes (Contract executed October 2025)
- Architect of Record: MNK (Local) / Marmon Mok (Contract executed November 2025)
- Design Completion: February 2026
- Current Phase: General Contractor RFP (February 2026)
After the design phase has concluded, the project will move through General Contractor RFP phase, with the selection of a general contractor expected shortly. Once construction begins, this new facility will strengthen UMC’s outpatient rehabilitation capacity, providing modern, accessible care for patients in East El Paso.
